Since its launch in 1998, Just The Right Shoe has evolved from a collection of 18 shoes to a complete visual representation of changing fashions throughout history.

There is something for all tastes in this collection, from elegant and stylish to bright and funky!

Here you will find everything that the true collector should know about Just The Right Shoe.

MORE THAN JUST A SHOE.. The shoes are not the only things to have changed. Boxes, certificates and catalogues have all been re-designed to incorporate the new and exciting shoes from Raine. Each reflects a different stage in the life of Just The Right Shoe, and so become as important to collectors as the shoes themselves.

The Miniature Shoe Box

Not many people realise at first, but the box that Just The Right Shoe is packaged in is a miniature version of a regular shoe box! The boxes have changed over time, and vary according to the theme of the shoe.

The glitter of pearlized leather at both ends of the sole, and sliding ever so sensually over the instep, is accented by the silvertone chain that runs from a central faux gem, to each side of the sole. It was a smart woman with a taste for the Oriental influence of style, who wore something like these Smart Cookie miniature shoes. The solid, black platform sole is edged in red, and covered in a red Oriental patterned cloth. Knotted ties resembling the paper fortunes from cookies were designed to slip over the heel and instep, with a cookie perched on the thong that slipped between her toes.
